With Our Post Brackets
Wood posts sunk directly into the ground in our climate will rot out weather pressure treated or not - set in concrete. They will rot at ground level causing the entire fence to fall down.
This problem is corrected by bolting a steel bracket to the bottom of a 4x4 post. The steel extends into the concrete and the wood stays one inch above the ground.
Campbell Fence Company designed this bracket over 40 years ago and we have not changed the style because they work perfectly.
Flat Base Plate
Our post bracket has been modified to adapt to existing concrete slabs, patios, and driveways. Both brackets are powder coated to protect against rust.
